Girl Who Wont Settle

Powered by Blogger.
I remember it was a less than a year when I prayed for friends that were spontaneous, adventurous and psycho... And in less than a year this crazy bunch surprisingly entered my life. If there was any meme on how they entered my life.... this would definitely be it:

It was only until this semester that I really got to know them (hayyy regrets) but one thing's for sure, So before I get all cheesy, here's what I realized about having friends:

Real friends will let you cut their hair.
Real friends trust you with everything - even their hair (which is quite frankly, a big step lol). Friends trust your judgement and will even allow you

You can be matakaw in front of them.
These are the people who

They may not be always there, but they will go all the way just to comfort you.

...and they will always try to make it. Always.

Even if you haven't talked for days, weeks and months, you can still pick up from where you have left of.

My dad is a businessman. Growing up, I remember he always encouraged my sisters and I to go into business. We did.  At the age of 8, we sold lemonade and cookies around the neighborhood – in our girl scout uniforms, of course. By high school, we sold clothes and bags we bought from divisoria, which that time, was still a strange place to the public. And by the time I reached college, I (with my other younger sister) started a hand-sewn plushie business.

As a young entrepreneur, I have learned that I need to take care of myself too.  You get sick for one day and suddenly your whole business is down (that’s in my case, since there are only the two of us working + our production line, which was about 5 more people). But you don’t have to learn the hard way as we finally have PhilCare to back us up.

this time, it’s for us, small businesses. I first fell inlove with PhilCare because it recognizes the need for small businesses to have insurance too. So whether there are only 5 employees to less than a hundred (99), you’re never too small to partner with PhilCare.

It's been a while since I really updated this blog......... okay, fine - it's been a month. I will be honest, ever since the start of school, I haven't had much sleep (my friends can attest to this) moreover the strength to update this. So one day my classmate goes up to me and says "Ate, nakita ko po blog mo. Lagi ka nalang nagsosorry kasi di ka naguupdate" - and I was like "Oo nga no." We laughed after. Feeling guilty, I decided to write (or at least update this) tonight. So here I am.

Since Valentine's just ended, I thought I might post something related to it - but less cheesy.

If there are people so in love, there are also the love less............ or at least people who are going through something. In case you aren't familiar with the term "hugot", here's the best way to explain it - taken from Reddit:

I'm Melissa

a 20- something Morena from Manila who will work for food (not half kidding). I love getting lost in new places and lost in telling stories. Talk to me about iced coffee, business, side hustles and productivity! I'm obsessed with binders. #HufflePuff
