One thing that's keeping me from making more outfit posts is the weather. Most of the time it's bipolar and most of the time, it's just raining... hard. Today is Saturday, the only time I can ask my sister to take photos of me for another outfit post but the rain is just getting in my way. For photos, I usually wait till 5-6pm because I think that's the best time for photos.
Being a retired swimmer, tan lines were my number one enemy. You know, besides beating myself at my own records, the sun and all that. And I guess that's just one downside of swimming, you have no choice - you will end up having uneven skin color. In my past 4 years of swimming, along side with other swimming gigs every now and then, I didn't mind it.
I didn't mind it until it got bad. I noticed how my arms and legs were really darker compared to my body and face and that made me shy (HAHAHA ok to be fair, just a bit). But I really didn't like how it looked and no matter what I did, my skin just wouldn't go back to its original color.
When I'm not wearing black, I'm definitely wearing something printed. I'm a bit obsessed with prints (to be honest) - especially the floral and The Book of Life kind. What I love about it? I love that prints make a statement - whether you're girly, emo, futuristic, weird (HAHA) or whatever statements you want to say. Also, you don't have to accessorize that much. That's why usually they're paired with plain tops, bottoms. But if you're daring, you can pair it with prints too. Oh, how I wish there was a shop that sells anything and everything printed..... oh wait. There is. It's Dresslink! :)
Dresslink belongs to Hongkong Linemart Limited which is a worldwide online fashion clothing shop. They sell more than 10,000 styles (imagine!) of clothes all over the world including the Philippines. Today, they take pride in offering exceptionally low priced but high quality clothes. When I checked their site, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the clothes, bags, shoes and accessories to choose from - so in all seriousness, check them out!
I don't usually put make-up especially since I don't go to very formal events + I'm still a student + I like going all natural. But when I do, I always find it hard to remove. Yep, The struggle is real - you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure you experienced almost brushing off your whole face and having to find your make-up still on, right?
Well, that struggle can finally come to an end and thanks to Her Beauty Guide SHILLS Make-up Remover + Facial Cleanser! (Why did I only discover this now huhu). So keep scrolling and check out my full review on the product.
Hello! I don't really know how these outfits posts go buuuuut at least I'm trying, right? Haha. Fashion blogging has always been unfamiliar to me. I love clothes and styling but I have never found some motivation to really write about it - even if I wanted to. But finally, after days of being stuck at home - no thanks to the weather, may I just add - I found myself writing. (So don't hate and only potate please HAHA)

Hi guys! I'm finally writing about how I edit my photos. If you know me personally, I'm a big fan of post-processing photos and Instagram. Im pretty sure you're familiar with Instagram, if you're not - whaaat- you must get on IG now! Haha. Anyways, here's a quick list of my favorite photo editing apps + how I edit my photos. Hope this helps and enjoy! :)
Hello everyone! For this post, I'm going to share with you my final thoughts on Her Beauty Guide's SHILLS Black Gel Mask. I started using this product a week ago and admittedly, I've seen improvement with my skin. Since it's summer (it's still summer, right?), we can't help but sweat... and a lot. And what comes with a sweaty face is pores! *NOOOOOOO huhu*
Hello! Welcome to the second volume of The Sunday Currently. Sundays are usually rest days but sometimes, I like to write (or in this case, blog) and share how my Sundays go- and that's the only thing I do on Sundays. Go to church, eat, sleep, rest and write. Anyways, I hope everyone has a fun-filled week ahead.

READING
To All The Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han. Actually, I'm rereading it so that I can finally read her next book everyone is going crazy about. I need more new books. Do you guys have any suggestions?
WRITING
more blog posts and book reviews for a client. Yaaaaay
LISTENING
to High School Musical albums. Huhuhu I miss them but every time I just watch the movies, I feel too depressed thinking about how Zac and Vanessa are not together. Sorry, big fan.
THINKING
about what to do next. Last year, I was busy teaching English to Japanese online. This year, I don't really have a permanent "summer job". Probably because I'd like to rest and do other things. People say I should go back to teaching because I was good at it but I'd like to try something new then maybe go back. It doesnt hurt, right?
SMELLING
the rain. Now that it's July, the rainy season has begun. Hayyy
WISHING
For school to actually start. I'm excited with my new subjects.
WEARING
my going out clothes. We're going to have lunch with relatives today. I can't wait. Another excuse of mine to pig out. Haha!
WANTING
to go on an adventure. Last week I went hiking with friends. This week, I want to go swimming.
NEEDING
sleep. I've been puyat lately because my boyfriend was in the US for the past month. With the 12 hour difference, we would both always stay up late.
FEELING
really excited. My boyfriend is finally home after his month-long adventure in the US. I'm finally gonna see him tomorrow and catch-up! :) :)
So that's basically it. How's everyone's Sunday? :) Click here to join the blog link by siddathornton. Till next time!
Hi guys!! Who's excited for Minions? I know I am! Good news for you, you can watch it for free! All you have to do is show up in yellow, present your smartphones with the GMovies app and Gary at the Movies Viber Stickers to be one of the 200 LUCKY PARTICIPANTS of our special screening.
Last Wednesday, June 24, my orgmates and I went "backpacking" around Laguna. Although it really wasn't like the hardcore backpacking where you don't go home until the adventure was over - it was a good start. Amateur backpackers please. Haha. With more than 12 hours on the road, long bus rides and rainy muddy hikes - we've finally made it to Pandin Lake in San Pablo Laguna!
First things first, HOW DO WE GET TO PANDIN LAKE VIA PUBLIC TRANSPO?
#1 From Jollibee Junction near UP Los Banos, Laguna:
Ride a jeep that says "San Pablo" (32 PESOS). Ride all the way till you see buildings. The jeepney driver will tell you if you are already in San Pablo anyway. Go down near KFC. From KFC, there is a road with jeepneys lined up. Go ride a jeep that says "Sambat" (13 PESOS). The driver will then drop you off in Sambat. You will see a BIG sign that says "Pandin" lake. Follow the trail or ask assistance (there usually is a guide near the entrance).
#2 From South Station, Alabang:
Go ride a jeep that says Sta Cruz. Tell the bus conductor you're going to "UPLB College" (55 PESOS). Go down at Olivarez. Again, the bus conductor will tell you if you're near. On the same side of the road, ride a jeep that says "San Pablo" then follow #1. :)
Total cost to get to Pandin lake one-way from Alabang: 100 PESOS
